For instance, I wrote a book about the effects of language on how people talk, and I wrote about how people who use a lot of languages are generally more likely to say the same thing over and over again, especially when they’re talking about other people.Īnother thing I think is cool about lyrical writing is that it doesn’t just make everything more complicated and confusing. But I think it is something to be admired.Ī lot of the things I do in my head are written or edited and if I can make it better then I will. I know I write a lot more slowly than I used to, and I will get frustrated by that. I use a lot of different techniques to write and I think it does make it more time consuming, but I think that is something to be admired as well. I’m so happy for the people around me that I’m going to write a couple of sentences and end up getting lots of answers that I don’t feel quite right at all. I know that writing is supposed to be fun and it isn’t.
This is something my writing style gets stuck in with my brain, but it works. I mean, I could write like a million words and it would still be just as pointless. I also tend to write in a manner that is more poetic and melodic than most other writers use as a style. I love the flow of writing and I strive for a very linear style as opposed to a more collage-based style. The lyrical writing style I use is influenced by the styles that I’ve encountered in my life as a writer.
